After listening to the Katt Williams interview on the Shay Shay podcast, I am reminded of the motto/scripture that I live by, John 8:32: “And the truth shall set you free.” This saying resonates with me because there is something so liberating when you live an honest life and in return, you give respect to others, by operating with transparency. I was stunned when people expressed anger at Jada Pinkett-Smith for sharing the truths of her life and refusing to continue to hide behind a façade of phoniness. By choosing to live a life of openness and honesty you can rest in the knowledge that you are not at risk of exposure, and the comfort of that feeling is irreplaceable.
You owe it to yourself and those whom you interact with to be your best and true self because you are beautiful, flaws and all! The truth is sexy, the truth is liberating, and yes, the truth will set you free! Embrace, Embody, Entertain, Exemplify, and Enjoy the feeling of being in complete control of the narrative of your Experience. Trust me, it’s a powerful feeling and a wonderful thang! I encourage you to go forward as your "True Self" and wear your authenticity with pride!
I ask for your thoughts, prayers, positivity, blessings, good vibes, best wishes, and support as I step out in faith. I am also a "starving" college student studying for my M.S. Degree in Forensic Psychology. If you can find it in your heart to "leave a tip" to help donate to my dream of helping others, on this site and in the world, I would certainly appreciate it. Every bit helps!
