It is so nice to be here sharing with you and making a connection, because that is so important for having a positive mindset and generating happy feelings. Another aspect that many of us take for granted, but is just as important for our overall mental and emotional well-being, is our self-esteem.
Without a doubt, the way you see yourself and the value you place on who you are can be the difference between a fulfilled life, versus one where you are constantly looking outward, but hoping for fulfillment within. Thoughts and feelings of being “less than” can cause you to allow others to treat you in ways that are lower than your true worth, causing you to accept treatment that is belittling and beneath you. These messages of diminished value will eventually erode how you see yourself, and consequently, how others see you as well.
The downside of looking outward for inner peace is that it will never be enough and that hunger can ultimately reduce your quality of life. Fortunately, there is guidance available that you can add to your toolbox of self-improvement and self-empowerment that can help you cultivate the inner love that's necessary for true happiness and a more gratified and satisfied life.
